Wedding at St. Catherine of Sienna Church- Somerville

From soft, haunting tones to lilting, high-energy dances, the Great Highland Bagpipe is a dramatic musical choice for any affair. This beautiful instrument can welcome the guests at your ceremony, provide a classic melody for a processional or recessional, or dramatically announce the new couple at the reception.

If you are planning an outdoor ceremony, the pipes can be utilized for the ceremony music and is a great alternative to having recorded music. It is also a MUST for the traditional Celtic-themed wedding.

For church ceremonies, the pipes are typically performed outside the church for 20 to 30 minutes prior to the ceremony as guests arrive and again after the ceremony during the receiving line as guests depart. If you choose to have the piper perform at any point during the ceremony, it is best to check with your clergy to see if your church allows this option.

Whether your ceremony is in a church, in your backyard or barefoot on the beach, Adam will happily perform wherever your wedding venue may be.

Adam!
I just want to say thank you so very much from the bottom of our hearts. Your performance was perfect and made all the difference for our big day. Although I didn’t get to speak with you much, I felt confident you would be on point...and so you were. I will recommend you to anyone if needed! Thanks again for making my dream of having the pipes at my wedding come true.

Thank you so much again for piping during our wedding ceremony in Portsmouth, NH this past July. You did such a great job and everyone really enjoyed it!
— Jesse and Nicole
Great piping! The Scottish contingent were very very impressed by your skills! They’re a tough crowd too!
— Gordon and Mary
Thank you for the great job you did last weekend! People loved your music so much. Take care!
— Molly
I just wanted to thank you for the great job you did at our wedding. It was a great touch and we got a lot of great feedback from our guests. I’ll be sure to refer you to anyone I know.

Thank you so much - you did an amazing job and everyone loved you. The bagpipes were one of the most important features of my special day and you absolutely delivered on your promise to put on a great show. I had a very happy and proud Irish side of the family that were all so moved by your beautiful music, and I had a very appreciative Italian side of the family that was exposed to our culture and just how strong our roots grow. Your rendition of Amazing Grace during the honoring of our departed loved ones was one of the few moments that I found myself getting choked up on my wedding day. I’ll never forget that beautiful moment. Thanks so much for making it all happen. I know my relatives and loved ones heard from afar.

Thank you so much for playing at our wedding. The sound of your bagpipes made our wedding ceremony very meaningful and heralded our processional and recessional as special moments to remember. We appreciated your presence at the ceremony.
Should you ever require a recommendation we will gladly provide one.
— Nadya
I wanted to thank you very much for your expert bagpiping at our daughter’s wedding in August. Thank you also for your input on the music - it all worked out perfectly! I hope you think so too! Thank you very much again. It was perfect!
— Jen
I am not sure if you remember me, but you played at my wedding in June 2005. I still have people talking about my wedding and you’re always referenced - almost 7 years later! In any case, I hope things other than that are well. Let me know if I can help in any way in terms of a reference or anything. I realize it’s 7 years later, but still! :)
— Heather
I wanted to say thank you for your wonderful performance the day of our wedding. I was actually sad when I arrived - I wasn’t able to stop and say hello to you and finally meet you! Our guests are still talking about how wonderful you were. Thank you for making our day so special. If there is ever an opportunity for me to provide a reference for you, please let me know.

Thanks so very much....the joy of your presence and performance will linger in our he arts always! We wish you all the best.....and will hope to see you again in the future.
